1. INTRODUCTION

Glidova Inc. ("Glidova," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information entrusted to us.

This Privacy Policy explains how Glidova collects, receives, uses, processes, stores, discloses, transfers, and protects information when you use our online travel services through:

  • the Glidova website;

  • the Glidova mobile application for Android;

  • the Glidova mobile application for iOS;

  • mobile or web-based booking interfaces;

  • customer support services;

  • email, SMS, push notifications, or other communications;

  • and any other digital service that links to this Privacy Policy.

Collectively, these are referred to in this Privacy Policy as the "Services."

Glidova operates an online travel agency ("OTA") platform that allows users to search for, compare, reserve, and/or purchase travel-related products and services, including:

  • airline tickets and flight services;

  • hotel and accommodation reservations;

  • car rental services;

  • activities, attractions, excursions, and experiences;

  • and related travel products and services that may be introduced from time to time.

Glidova generally acts as an intermediary between travelers and third-party travel suppliers. Depending on the transaction, the actual travel service may be provided by an airline, hotel, accommodation provider, car rental company, activity provider, tour operator, travel supplier, global distribution system, travel technology provider, payment provider, or other third party.

By accessing or using our Services, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

2. SCOPE OF THIS PRIVACY POLICY

This Privacy Policy applies to personal information processed by Glidova in connection with its Services.

It applies regardless of whether you access Glidova through:

  • a desktop browser;

  • a mobile browser;

  • the Glidova Android application;

  • the Glidova iOS application;

  • an embedded booking interface;

  • or communications with our customer-support representatives.

This Privacy Policy does not govern the independent privacy practices of airlines, hotels, car rental providers, activity providers, payment processors, or other third parties whose products or services may be available through Glidova.

Those organizations may process your personal information under their own privacy policies.

3. GLIDOVA'S ROLE AS AN ONLINE TRAVEL AGENCY

Glidova provides technology that facilitates the discovery and booking of travel services.

When you make a reservation, certain information must be transmitted to the applicable travel supplier or booking provider so that the requested travel service can be fulfilled.

For example, an airline cannot issue an airline ticket without receiving required passenger information.

Likewise, a hotel may require the guest's name and reservation information, and a car rental provider may require driver and reservation information.

Accordingly, certain disclosures of traveler information are necessary to provide the travel service you request.

Glidova does not control the independent privacy practices of travel suppliers once information has been transmitted to them for the fulfillment of your booking.

4. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

The information we collect depends upon how you interact with Glidova, the travel product being booked, the supplier's requirements, your device settings, and applicable law.

We seek to collect only information reasonably necessary to provide and operate our Services.

You may make a reservation on behalf of another person.

For example, you may purchase a flight for:

  • your spouse;

  • a family member;

  • your child;

  • or another traveler.

If you provide personal information relating to another individual, you represent that you are authorized to provide that information for purposes of arranging the requested travel service.

You should ensure that the traveler is aware that their personal information may be processed in accordance with this Privacy Policy and the privacy policies of the applicable travel suppliers.

6. PAYMENT INFORMATION

Such information does not necessarily include the complete underlying card credentials.

6.3 Payment Security

Payment providers may use security technologies including tokenization, encryption, authentication tools, fraud-screening systems, and industry-standard payment security controls.

Glidova recommends that users never send complete card numbers, passwords, or other payment credentials through ordinary email or unsecured messaging channels.

Our applications may access certain device features depending upon the services you choose to use.

Access to device features is subject to your device settings and applicable platform permissions.

Depending on your device and permission settings, location information may include:

  • approximate location;

  • city or region;

  • IP-derived location;

  • or precise device location if you expressly authorize such access.

Where operating-system permission is required, Glidova will request access through the Android or iOS permission system.

You may generally disable location access through your device settings.

Disabling location services may affect certain location-dependent features but should not prevent access to travel-search features that do not require device location.

Glidova does not intend to collect precise geolocation information unless it is reasonably necessary for a location-based feature and you have provided the applicable device permission.

10. MAP SERVICES

Glidova may integrate third-party mapping or geolocation technologies to display:

  • hotel locations;

  • airports;

Glidova will configure analytics technologies and consent mechanisms according to applicable legal requirements where required.

12. ADVERTISING AND MARKETING TECHNOLOGIES

Glidova may use advertising and marketing technologies to:

  • measure advertising effectiveness;

Depending upon the technology used, advertising partners may process:

Our website and digital services may use:

  • cookies;

  • pixels;

  • tags;

  • software development kits ("SDKs");

  • local storage;

  • mobile identifiers;

These may include:

18. PAYMENT PROCESSORS

Information necessary to complete a payment may be transmitted directly to authorized payment processors.

  • push notifications;

  • customer support;

  • payment processing;

  • fraud prevention;

  • and other technology services.

These service providers may process personal information only to the extent necessary to provide their services, subject to applicable contractual arrangements and law.

20. BUSINESS TRANSACTIONS

If Glidova is involved in a:

  • merger;

  • acquisition;

  • corporate restructuring;

  • financing;

  • investment;

  • sale of assets;

  • bankruptcy;

  • or similar corporate transaction,

personal information may be disclosed as part of the transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal requirements.

Glidova may disclose information when we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to:

  • comply with applicable law;

  • respond to lawful government requests;

  • comply with subpoenas;

  • comply with court orders;

  • cooperate with law enforcement;

  • investigate suspected fraud;

  • protect the safety of users;

  • protect Glidova's property or rights;

  • or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

22. SALE OR SHARING OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

Glidova does not sell personal information to third parties in exchange for monetary payment as part of its ordinary travel-booking operations.

However, certain analytics, advertising, cookie, SDK, or digital-marketing technologies may involve disclosure of identifiers or internet activity that could be classified as a "sale," "sharing," "targeted advertising," or similar activity under certain U.S. state privacy laws, even where no money is exchanged.

Where applicable law gives you the right to opt out of such activities, Glidova will provide an appropriate mechanism for exercising that right.

This may include:

  • a "Your Privacy Choices" link;

  • a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" mechanism;

  • cookie preference controls;

  • an application privacy setting;

  • or another legally recognized opt-out mechanism.

23. SENSITIVE PERSONAL INFORMATION

Certain information used for travel bookings may be considered sensitive personal information under applicable law.

Examples may include:

  • passport information;

  • travel-document numbers;

  • precise geolocation where enabled;

  • information revealing accessibility requirements;

  • or other information classified as sensitive by applicable law.

Glidova processes sensitive information only where reasonably necessary for legitimate travel, security, compliance, or application functionality purposes.

Where consent is legally required, we will obtain appropriate consent.

24. INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL AND INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

Travel is inherently international.

When you book travel involving another country, information may need to be transferred outside the United States.

For example, if a U.S. customer books a hotel in France, the hotel or its reservation system may need to receive the guest's information in France or another jurisdiction from which the reservation system operates.

Similarly, airlines may process passenger information through reservation systems located in multiple countries.

Therefore, your personal information may be transferred to, stored in, or accessed from countries that have different privacy laws than your country of residence.

Where required, Glidova takes reasonable measures designed to protect personal information transferred internationally.

25. DATA RETENTION

Glidova retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected and as required by applicable law.

Retention periods may depend upon factors including:

  • whether a booking remains active;

  • the length of the customer relationship;

  • travel supplier requirements;

  • accounting requirements;

  • taxation requirements;

  • dispute-resolution periods;

  • fraud-prevention requirements;

  • chargeback periods;

  • legal limitation periods;

  • regulatory obligations;

  • and litigation or legal-hold requirements.

When personal information is no longer reasonably required, we may:

  • delete it;

  • anonymize it;

  • aggregate it;

  • or securely isolate it until deletion is possible.

Payment-card credentials processed directly by payment gateways are not retained by Glidova as complete card data.

26. ACCOUNT AND DATA DELETION

Where users have an account or where applicable law provides a deletion right, users may request deletion of eligible personal information.

Requests may be submitted through:

  • an account privacy or deletion function, where available; or

  • Glidova's privacy contact channel listed below.

Deletion may not result in immediate removal of every record.

Glidova may retain certain information where necessary to:

  • comply with legal obligations;

  • maintain financial or transaction records;

  • detect fraud;

  • process chargebacks;

  • complete existing reservations;

  • handle disputes;

  • enforce agreements;

  • protect legal rights;

  • or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

When information must be retained, Glidova will restrict processing as appropriate and delete or anonymize the information when the applicable retention requirement expires.

27. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS

Depending upon your jurisdiction, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information.

These rights may include the right to:

  • know whether Glidova processes your personal information;

  • request access to personal information;

  • request categories of personal information collected;

  • obtain a copy of certain personal information;

  • request correction of inaccurate information;

  • request deletion of eligible information;

  • request information concerning disclosures to third parties;

  • opt out of certain sales or sharing of personal information;

  • opt out of targeted advertising where applicable;

  • limit certain uses of sensitive personal information where applicable;

  • withdraw consent where processing is based upon consent;

  • and appeal certain privacy-request decisions where required by law.

The availability of particular rights depends upon applicable law and whether Glidova is subject to that law for the relevant consumer and processing activity.

28. CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS

California residents may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act and related California privacy laws, subject to applicable thresholds, definitions, exemptions, and exceptions.

Where applicable, California residents may have rights to:

Right to Know

Request information regarding categories or specific pieces of personal information collected.

Right to Delete

Request deletion of personal information, subject to legal exceptions.

Right to Correct

Request correction of inaccurate personal information.

Right to Opt Out of Sale or Sharing

Direct a covered business not to sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law.

Right to Limit Certain Uses of Sensitive Personal Information

Where applicable, request restrictions on certain uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information.

Right to Non-Discrimination

Exercise applicable privacy rights without unlawful discrimination.

Glidova will not unlawfully discriminate against a consumer because the consumer exercised a privacy right.

29. OTHER U.S. STATE PRIVACY RIGHTS

Residents of certain other U.S. states may have privacy rights under their state's comprehensive consumer privacy legislation.

Depending upon applicable law, these rights may include:

  • access;

  • correction;

  • deletion;

  • portability;

  • targeted-advertising opt-out;

  • sale opt-out;

  • profiling opt-out;

  • consent rights concerning sensitive information;

  • and an appeal process.

Because privacy legislation continues to evolve, Glidova will apply applicable state rights according to the law in effect for the relevant consumer and processing activity.

30. VERIFYING PRIVACY REQUESTS

To protect users from unauthorized access or deletion of personal information, Glidova may verify a person's identity before fulfilling certain privacy requests.

Verification may involve requesting information reasonably necessary to confirm:

  • identity;

  • email address;

  • telephone number;

  • reservation details;

  • booking reference;

  • or another appropriate identifier.

We will use verification information only for security and request-processing purposes.

31. AUTHORIZED AGENTS

Where applicable law permits, you may designate an authorized agent to submit a privacy request on your behalf.

Glidova may require:

  • proof that you authorized the agent;

  • verification of your identity;

  • and information sufficient to validate the request.

32. MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS

Where permitted by law, Glidova may send promotional communications concerning travel products, offers, or services.

You may unsubscribe from marketing email by following the unsubscribe instructions contained in the communication.

You may opt out of promotional SMS messages according to the instructions provided in the message.

Opting out of marketing communications does not prevent Glidova from sending transactional or service communications, such as:

  • booking confirmations;

  • schedule changes;

  • cancellation information;

  • payment confirmations;

  • refund updates;

  • security notices;

  • or customer-service communications.

33. MOBILE APP PERMISSIONS

Depending upon application functionality, Glidova may request mobile-device permissions.

Any permissions used should correspond to genuine application functionality.

Potential permissions may include:

Location Permission

Used for location-aware airport, hotel, car, activity, or mapping functionality.

Notification Permission

Used to send booking, travel, account, service, and promotional notifications where enabled.

Camera or Photo Access

If such functionality is introduced, access may be requested only when necessary for a feature such as uploading a travel document or profile image.

Other Permissions

Additional permissions will be requested only where reasonably necessary for a feature and subject to operating-system controls.

Users can review or disable mobile-app permissions through Android or iOS settings.

34. APPLE iOS PRIVACY

For users of the Glidova iOS application, data collection and permissions may also be subject to Apple platform controls.

Glidova will make reasonable efforts to ensure that its App Store privacy disclosures accurately represent data collected by Glidova and third-party SDKs integrated into the application.

Where Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework applies to a particular tracking activity, the applicable Apple permission mechanism will be used.

Users can manage application permissions through the Privacy & Security section of their iOS device.

35. ANDROID AND GOOGLE PLAY PRIVACY

For users of the Glidova Android application, Glidova will maintain Google Play Data Safety disclosures intended to reflect the data practices of the application and relevant integrated service providers.

Users may control supported permissions through Android application settings.

Depending upon device and Android version, controls may include:

  • location;

  • notifications;

  • advertising identifiers;

  • and other application permissions.

36. THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES AND SERVICES

Glidova may provide links to third-party websites or services, including those operated by:

  • airlines;

  • hotels;

  • tourism providers;

  • car rental companies;

  • payment providers;

  • travel suppliers;

  • or other third parties.

Glidova is not responsible for the independent privacy practices, security practices, content, or policies of those third parties.

We encourage users to review the privacy policy of any third-party service they access.

37. TRAVEL SUPPLIER PRIVACY PRACTICES

Travel suppliers may independently process traveler information.

For example:

  • airlines may submit passenger information to border authorities;

  • hotels may retain guest records as required by local law;

  • car rental companies may require driver identification;

  • international travel providers may transmit passenger information to government agencies.

Those activities are generally controlled by the applicable supplier or governmental authority rather than Glidova.

38. GOVERNMENT AND BORDER AUTHORITIES

International travel may require airlines or other travel providers to provide passenger information to:

  • immigration authorities;

  • customs authorities;

  • border-security authorities;

  • aviation-security agencies;

  • law-enforcement authorities;

  • or other governmental agencies.

Such disclosures may be legally required and may occur independently of Glidova.

39. SECURITY

Glidova uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against:

  • unauthorized access;

  • unauthorized disclosure;

  • unauthorized alteration;

  • accidental loss;

  • misuse;

  • destruction;

  • and other unauthorized processing.

Security measures may include, where appropriate:

  • encrypted network communications;

  • access controls;

  • authentication mechanisms;

  • infrastructure security;

  • security monitoring;

  • role-based access;

  • data minimization;

  • restricted administrative access;

  • backup controls;

  • and vendor-security practices.

However, no website, mobile application, database, network, or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Accordingly, Glidova cannot guarantee absolute security.

40. DATA MINIMIZATION

Glidova seeks to limit collection of personal information to information reasonably necessary for:

  • providing requested travel services;

  • operating the Services;

  • fulfilling legal requirements;

  • maintaining security;

  • and legitimate business operations.

Users should avoid submitting information that is not necessary for the requested travel service.

41. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

The Glidova Services are intended for general travel users and are not directed toward children under 13 years of age.

Glidova does not knowingly solicit children under 13 to independently create accounts or use the Services in violation of applicable children's privacy laws.

However, travel reservations commonly include children or infants.

An adult parent, guardian, or authorized traveler may therefore provide information about a minor when reasonably necessary to:

  • purchase airline tickets;

  • reserve accommodation;

  • arrange transportation;

  • book activities;

  • or otherwise arrange travel for the child.

Information concerning minors submitted for travel-booking purposes will be processed as necessary to provide the requested service.

If you believe that a child has independently submitted personal information to Glidova inappropriately, please contact us.

42. DO NOT TRACK

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" ("DNT") setting.

Because there is not necessarily a universally adopted technical standard governing all DNT signals, Glidova's response may depend upon the technology and applicable legal requirements.

Where applicable law requires recognition of a legally valid browser-based or universal opt-out preference signal, Glidova will take reasonable steps to honor the signal as required.

43. USER RESPONSIBILITIES

Users are responsible for providing accurate information.

You should not provide:

  • false traveler information;

  • another person's information without appropriate authority;

  • unnecessary sensitive information;

  • or fraudulent payment or identity information.

Incorrect traveler information may result in:

  • ticketing failure;

  • boarding denial;

  • booking cancellation;

  • supplier penalties;

  • or additional charges.

44. PRIVACY OF CUSTOMER SUPPORT COMMUNICATIONS

When contacting customer support, users should provide only information necessary to resolve the issue.

Users should not send complete payment-card numbers, CVV codes, passwords, or other highly sensitive credentials through ordinary email, chat, or SMS unless Glidova specifically provides a secure method designed for that purpose.

Customer-support communications may be retained as reasonably necessary for:

  • resolving the request;

  • quality assurance;

  • fraud prevention;

  • dispute management;

  • legal compliance;

  • and improving customer service.

45. DATA PROCESSING FOR FRAUD AND SECURITY
